The Tasmanian lanternshark (Etmopterus tasmaniensis) is a shark belonging to the family Etmopteridae. Described by Myagkov & Pavlov in 1986, it may now be classified as the Brown lanternshark or Bristled lanternshark (Etmopterus unicolor).
